Rove Beetle

This little 1cm long black beetle with the bright orange-red head is a rove beetle and they do not eat the fruit on your fruit trees even though they are found in the canopy with the fruit this week. 
They eat decaying vegetable matter and that could be fruit you forgot to pick, so do nothing, except maybe pick your fruit more frequently.
